Thanks to our partner, Old Crow Ranch, we can accept all food waste — even meat, bones, and weeds.
At the farm, our compost piles heat up to over 130°F, driven by heat-loving microbes. This process breaks down everything, including tough materials like bones and weed seeds, turning it into rich compost that nourishes Maine's soil.
